Yonkers police are asking motorists to avoid the area near Nepperhan Avenue as police investigate the death of a woman who was struck by a car.
The incident took place around 10 a.m., Wednesday, on Nepperhan Avenue near Ashburton Avenue, according to Yonkers Police Spokesman Sgt. Dean Politipoulos.
The victim and the driver of the car reportedly knew one another, according to reports. For more on that, click here.
