Shopping Centers: Cross County will be open for last-minute shoppers from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Christmas Eve. Westchester's Ridge Hill also will be also be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Both will be closed Tuesday.

Libraries: Yonkers Public Library will close at noon Christmas Eve and remain closed through Christmas Day, reopening Wednesday morning. 

Retail Stores and Supermarkets: Some are open with limited hours Monday. Most are closed Tuesday. 

Restaurants: Restaurants around the city will be open Christmas Eve and serving holiday dinners. Hours Christmas Day vary.

Post Offices: U.S. Post Offices nationwide will be open in the morning Christmas Eve but will close at noon. Mail also will be collected early so be sure to deposit your mail into all blue collection boxes by noon. The post office will be closed Christmas Day and there will be no mail collection/delivery.

City Hall: Will be closed on Christmas Day.

Empire City Casino: Will be open regular hours Christmas Eve (9 a.m. to 4 a.m.) and from noon until 4 a.m. Christmas Day.

Hudson River Museum: Will be closed both days.

Banks: Most will close early Monday and be closed Tuesday.

Metro North: Trains will operate both days on a Christmas Eve and Christmas Day schedule.

Yonkers Branch, New York State Department of Motor Vehicles: All state Department of Motor Vehicle offices are open Christmas Eve. They will be closed Christmas Day.
