Shopping Centers: Cross County Shopping Center will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on New Year’s Eve and will resume normal business hours on New Year’s Day. Westchester's Ridge Hill will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days.

Libraries: Yonkers Public Library will close at 5 p.m. New Year’s Eve and remain closed through New Year’s Day, reopening Tuesday morning.

Post Offices: U.S. Post Offices nationwide will be closed New Year’s Day and there will be no mail collection/delivery.

City Hall: Will be closed on New Year’s Day.

Empire City Casino: Will be open and hosting a New Year’s Eve celebration beginning at 5:30 p.m. Monday.

Metro North: On New Year’s Eve trains will operate on a Saturday schedule with extra service in the AM and PM peak periods, as well as additional inbound trains in the late afternoon/early evening, and the post-midnight late night/early morning service to get you home safely. On New Year’s Day, the trains will run on a holiday schedule.

Bee-Line Bus: Will run on normal schedule Monday and have a Sunday schedule during New Year’s Day.

Hudson River Museum: Will be closed both days.

Banks: Most will be closed on New Year's Day. 

Yonkers Branch, New York State Department of Motor Vehicles: Most DMV offices are open on New Year's Eve. Many county DMV offices are closed or have schedule changes. All NYS DMV and county DMV offices are closed on New Year’s Day.
