Tuesday, Nov. 13

Yonkers City Council Meeting: 8 p.m. The City Council will hold its regularly scheduled bi-weekly meeting in which it will discuss and vote on resolutions relating to city business. City Council Chambers, Yonkers City Hall, 40 South Broadway. 

Wednesday, Nov. 14

Jazz Greats from Page to Stage: 1:30 p.m. Listen as trumpeter Cecil Bridgewater and his band lead a jazz discussion and play their renditions of classic hits from performers like Kid Ory, Jelly Roll Morton, Roy Eldridge and Coleman Hawkins. Hudson River Museum, 511 Warburton Ave.

Yonkers Board of Education and Public Hearing: 7 p.m.  Prior to the regularly scheduled Board of Education meeting, school officials will hold a public hearing on the Charter School of Excellence and usual communications from the community. Auditorium, Saunders Trades and Technical High School, 183 Palmer Road.
