Westchester County Airport To Receive $549K In Federal Grants

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Westchester County Airport will receive $549,000 in grants from the Federal Aviation Administration, according to a statement released by Congresswoman Nita Lowey.

The additional funds will be allocated to projects aimed at improving drainage and road rehabilitation.

“Improvements to Lower Hudson Valley transportation hubs help guarantee access to our region’s economy,” Lowey said in a statement. “These FAA grants to Westchester County Airport will improve overall airport operation while enhancing safety."
