Members of the Yonkers Police Department were notified of an incident of criminal mischief on Tuesday morning, where a statue of Christopher Columbus was damaged, officials said on Tuesday afternoon.
The case is currently under investigation, including the possibility that it could have been juvenile vandalism overnight, officials noted. No arrests have been made.
