Yonkers got a taste of Hollywood in September when reality television superstars Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian visited the Cross County Shopping Center.

The trio of famous sisters were on hand to promote their “Kardashian Kollection” clothing line and to celebrate the one-year anniversary of the launch of their line at Sears.

The stars of E!’s series "Keeping up with the Kardashians," posed for photos and signed autographs for 200 fans who recently purchased one of their items.

A crowd of anxious hopefuls began forming in the middle of the night, each wanting to be one of the lucky few to meet the celebrities. Dozens of police officers patrolled the parking lot and mall to ensure the crowd didn’t overwhelm Sears’ employees.

“It’s getting crazy in here,” one security guard said before the meet-and-greet. “I thought it was busy before, but it’s crazy now. We’ve got a full house today.”

When the sisters finally appeared, fans jumped up and down with delight, craning their necks simply to get a peek. Others walked away, grinning from ear to ear while clutching photos.

One excited fan even burst into tears and ran off after talking to Kourtney, muttering, “I’m shaking.”

Many, like Teddy Leone, waited as long as 10 hours for the chance to see the sisters. Once it finally happened, it made the wait “totally worth it,” Leone said.
