Street Closures Set For St. Patrick's Day Parade On Yonkers' McLean Avenue

YONKERS, N.Y. -- Street closures have been announced for Saturday because of the Yonkers St. Patrick's Day parade, which starts at 1 p.m., on McLean Avenue.

The parade starts at Hyatt and McLean avenues and ends at McLean Avenue and McCollum Place near Coyne Park.

McLean Avenue will be closed in both directions from Bronx River Road to Central Park Avenue from approximately 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.  No-parking signs will be posted on McLean Avenue.  

McLean Avenue from Woodlawn Avenue to Bronx River Road will close at approximately 11 a.m. The rest of McLean Avenue being used by the parade will be closed at 12:30 p.m. All streets that are being used for staging will be closed until the marchers have passed.

There will be free parking at Empire City Casino.  Use the Yonkers Avenue entrance of the Empire City Casino for free shuttles to the parade route. Shuttles will start running at 9:30 a.m. and drop off and pick up spectators on the corner of Hillview and Kimball avenues, one block up from McLean Avenue until 5 p.m.  In addition there is street parking on Bronx Boulevard and Bullard Avenue on the east side of the Bronx River Parkway.

Vehicles will be towed at your expense if parked illegally or in resident driveways.

McLean will reopened as soon as it is safe after the completion of the parade. Bee Line bus route 25 will be rerouted to accommodate the parade.
