State Police from the Hawthorne barracks arrested Charles E. Fuerst and charged him with driving while intoxicated after a property damage automobile accident that occurred on the Sprain Brook Parkway, according to state police.
"Troopers arrived at the scene and found that good Samaritans had taken the keys from Fuerst preventing him from leaving the scene of the accident," state police said in the report.
