According to the report released by state Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli's office, the district also either misidentified or failed to tag assets valued at $90,704, said lohud.com.
The report recommended officials maintain updated records and make sure that all fixed assets valued at $500 or more for insurance purposes, and $5,000 or more for inventory purposes have tags affixed to them, among other advice, reported Lohud.com.
