Sprain Brook, Cross County Parkway Accidents Cause Delays

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- A pair of morning accidents are slowing down commuters in Westchester on Friday morning.

An accident that originally blocked the left lane on the southbound Sprain Brook Parkway between the Cross Westchester Expwy (I-287) and Jackson Avenue is still causing delays. The crash, reported at 7 a.m., has led to backups stretching several miles north.

An accident on the westbound Cross County Parkway between Kimball Avenue/Midland Avenue in Yonkers (Exit 5) and the I-87 (Exit 4) that originally blocked the right lane has moved to the shoulder.
