Simple Text Puts Most Android Phones At Risk For Hacks

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Security experts have found a software vulnerability that could expose all Android users to malicious software via a simple text, according to CNet.

Hackers could gain complete control of a user's cell phone by sending a text, allowing them to steal vital information like passwords, personal information, or credit card numbers, CNet reported. 

In 2014 alone, more than 1 billion Android devices were shipped worldwide, CNet said.
