Police were notified of the incident at approximately 9:30 a.m. and the Department of Environmental Conservation dispatched a team to confirm that no liquid cement spilled into the river, LoHud.com reported.
Authorities did not say what kind of impact the accident would have on construction timetables. The first section is schedyled to open in December 2016, LoHud.com said.
