The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services issued an alert on Wednesday to Westchester residents regarding the residency of 31-year-old Christopher Green, who has moved to an apartment on Lafayette Place in Yonkers.
The Division of Criminal Justice Services has assigned Green a Level 3 threat, which means he is a “high-risk repeat offender and possible threat to public safety.” He has also been designated as a sexually violent offender.
According to the Division of Criminal Justice Services, Green had sexual intercourse with his 11-year-old victim in July 2001, raping and sodomizing her. He was arrested by the Yonkers City Police Department SOR Unit and sentenced to between two and six years in state prison in February the following year. He remains under the jurisdiction of police in Yonkers.
