Sex Offender Accused Of Abusing Two Boys Reports Move In Yonkers

A registered sex offender accused of sexually abusing a pair of boys under the age of 10 has reported an address change in Westchester County.

The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services issued an alert on Tuesday to Westchester residents regarding the residency of 27-year-old David Dionisio, who has moved to an apartment on Cherokee Road in Yonkers.

The Division of Criminal Justice Services has assigned Dionisio a Level 3 threat, which means he is a “high-risk repeat offender and possible threat to public safety.” He has also been designated as a sexually violent offender.

According to the Division of Criminal Justice Services, Dionisio had sexual contact and deviate sexual intercourse with his 8 and 5-year-old victims in February 2006. He was arrested by the North Castle Town Police Department on a first-degree sexual abuse charge and sentenced to 10 years probation in January 2007. He is now under the jurisdiction of the Yonkers City Police Department SOR Unit.
