Seen Him? Family Dog Stolen Outside Route 9A Car Wash

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. - A local family is looking for answers after their dog was stolen by a stranger outside of a car wash in Westchester.

Linus, a labrador, was outside of the Spa Auto Spa car wash on Route 9A (Saw Mill River Road) on Sunday near the Yonkers-Hastings town line, when a woman in a dark colored Honda Element picked him up, put him in her vehicle and drove off.

According to Linus’ owners, he has not been turned into any shelters and they are actively looking for him.

The family described Linus as an 80-pound black lab, wearing a blue color. He is chipped and has been described as “very friendly.”

Anyone who may spot Linus or recognizes the woman or her vehicle has been asked to contact the family by calling (914) 374-7671.
