YONKERS, N.Y. -- The U.S. Postal Inspection Service is offering a reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect who robbed the Yonkers South Station Post Office in August.

The suspect is described as a black male in his early 20s, standing approximately 6-feet-tall and weighing roughly 200 pounds. 

The suspect was last seen wearing a long sleeve button down shirt, blue jeans and is said to be armed with a handgun.

Authorities urge residents not to attempt to apprehend the suspect.
