Mayor Confirms Enterovirus In Yonkers

YONKERS, N.Y. – A student at Cedar Place Elementary School has been diagnosed with enterovirus D68, according to several reports.

Mayor Mike Spano confirmed the child contracted the illness, which has been linked to several deaths this year.

The female student, who is being kept home, is recovering, according to reports. The school was apparently cleaned Monday as a precaution.
