U.S. District Judge Colleen McMahon, who called Mangone a "dirty lawyer," seemed unfazed by the lawyer's effort to turn his life around in recent years as she rejected his bid for probation, said lohud.com.

Mango will report to federal prison on March 7.

He was charged in January 2010 along with former Yonkers Councilwoman Sandy Annabi and her cousin, former Yonkers Republican Chairman Zehy Jereis in a bribery scheme, reported lohud.com.
