Mail Carrier Sues Yonkers Dog Owner Over Bite Incident

YONKERS, N.Y. – A postman from Greenwich, Conn., is suing a dog owner in Yonkers, stating her dog bit him and forced him to flee quickly, causing him to twist his right knee and ankle, reports lohud.

William Delgado stated in papers filed in state Supreme Court that when he delivered mail to the home of Abigail Cousins on June 2, 2012, her Australian shepherd was walking freely on the property and charged him, forcing Delgado to turn and try to run away quickly, according to the report.
