Light Snow Causes Icy Travel Conditions In Some Westchester Spots

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Bands of light snow moving through parts of Westchester County on Thursday morning have created icy travel conditions in some spots.

Though only light accumulation of less than an inch is expected, the National Weather Service issued a special weather statement for Northern Westchester warning of the conditions that is in effect until 9 a.m.

Thursday's high temperature will be between 34 and 36 degrees under cloudy skies with some snow flurries possible the rest of the day.
