Yonkers resident Chris Deluca, 31, was charged with felony criminal mischief for causing more than $4,000 worth of damage to 11 cars around 3 a.m., said Sgt. Dean Politopoulos, who said that Deluca did not take anything from the cars.
The cars vandalized were parked on both sides of the street north of the intersection with Wakefield Avenue.
Politopoulos said Deluca had a knife in his hand but believes he used the knife for added weight and smashed the windows with his hand because he had numerous injuries.
He was taken to a local hospital for evaluation, Politopoulos added.
