A major switch needs to be replaced, so a six-mile stretch between Harlem-125th Street through Marble Hill will be down to a single track.

Riders traveling from points north of Croton-Harmon will need to make an across-platform change of trains at Croton-Harmon, and the semi-express trains running between Croton-Harmon and Grand Central Terminal will only operate between Croton-Harmon and Marble Hill. This means riders will need to change trains at Marble Hill to continue their trip.

Local trains between Croton-Harmon and Grand Central are unaffected.

Make sure to check timetables for changes to your commute, and a new timetable will be published Nov. 16 once work is finished.
