The Habitat says it is fulfilling one of Santa's wishes by opening a Christmas Shop on one of the oldest and most historic Main Streets.
“I was honored when Mr. Claus himself, asked me to open up this shop. We at Habitat just want the community to come together, and we feel this Christmas Shop will do just that,” said Jim Killoran, chief executive officer of Habitat of Westchester.
The grand opening of the Christmas Shop, on Thursday, coincides with the beginning of the first annual Shop Main Street week, which will run through Nov. 26.
“The true heart and soul of Main Street lies within the small businesses, the people and it’s rich history,” Killoran stated.
