- A Yonkers man, Edwin Mejia, 31, pleaded guilty Monday to taking part in a scheme to cash more than $400,000 in fraudulently obtained federal tax refund checks issued in other people’s names, the U.S. Attorney's Office announced.
- Unemployment is at a six year year-to-year low , home sales and sales prices are on the rise in Yonkers and sales tax revenues are on the rise, Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano announced.
- A seven-month investigation ended with the identification of more than 60 individuals including Yonkers residents suspected to be involved with drug trafficking in New Rochelle.
- Bill Cosby postponed performances in Tarrytown amid increasing allegations of sexual assault.
