Greenburgh Officer Relieved Of Duty For Posting Racist Photo On Facebook

GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- A 28-year veteran of the Greenburgh Police Department was suspended and relieved of duty on Monday for allegedly posting a racially insensitive photo on Facebook recently, according to Greenburgh polce officials.

Brad DiCairano posted the photo to the social media site last week while the riots in Baltimore were taking place. He was initially placed on modified duty before the suspension was handed down, police said. 

Authorities are still investigating the incident. DiCairano could face severe disciplinary actions, including termination, police said.
