Families throughout the region took advantage of the screening, shopping and dining experience.

Before the movie, participants had the ability to take part in “Raise a Racquet” with Yonkers Tennis Center, a coloring/chalking station with Wee Westchester, beach ball giveaways by Lord and Taylor and samplings from Yonkers Brewing Company among other exhibitions, food and refreshments.

Pass It On Kids' Kloset, a local nonprofit organization that provides clothing and accessories to boys and girls across Westchester County who live near or below the poverty level, also had a successful night in donations.

Those who attended were encouraged to bring donations of either children’s clothing or of monetary value to receive a special “Pass It On – Ridge Hill Savings Card” featuring a list of promotional offers from local merchants valid for one time use through September 30.

Hundreds of items for families in need were provided.

The next Movie Mondays screening is “Despicable Me 2” on Monday, Aug. 11 at sunset.
