YONKERS, N.Y. -- An eight-year-old girl who suffered from cerebral palsy and died of alleged neglect in 2012 had a trust fund of more than $2 million for her care, according to a lohud.com report.
Most of the money, won in a malpractice lawsuit, has not been distributed yet, according to the article.
Several complaints were made to the state about her care before she died, including malnourishment and a lack of cleanliness, the report said.
