Coyote Sighting Causes School To Cut Short Recess In Yonkers

YONKERS, N.Y. -- A Yonkers principal immediately brought students inside of a Yonkers school after he was alerted of a coyote sighting in the area on Wednesday, according to News 12.

A man, who lived near the school on Fairview Avenue, contacted the principal after he saw the coyote, which the principal then acted right away and brought the kids inside, according to News 12.

Individuals in the area claimed that they had never seen a coyote in that particular area but there had been sightings in areas including New Rochelle, according to the report.
