CityMD is at 2393 Central Park Avenue at the intersection with Jackson Avenue and is the 31st location in the New York metropolitan area since the medical business began in 2010.
The mayor welcomed the group to the community and offered a proclamation to celebrate the new business, which provides full walk-in medical services, including minor emergency care, including in-house x-ray, electrocardiogram, and intravenous care.
"It's so important to have these kinds of medical facilities available today in our city, and it's close by where I live, so that's a plus for me," Spano said. "We're very excited that CityMD decided to open its office here -- providing clean, modern, expert medical services to the community."
According to Dr. Frank Illuzzi, CityMD's chief of staff, the group has a strong focus on the patient experience with the need for compassionate care.
"CityMD strives to provide its patients with the greatest healthcare available," Illuzzi said. "We have 70 years of ER experience on staff and are preapred to offer medical services for almost any need. We're are thrilled to be here in Westchester."
CityMD locations are open 365 days a year and welcome walk-ins for both adult and pediatric care.
