YONKERS, N. Y. -- Yonkers police are investigating what caused a car to hit a 10-year-old child Wednesday in Yonkers as the child recovers from non-life-threatening injuries, according to News 12.

The incident occurred about 6 p.m. on Frederic Street. The child was taken to Jacobi Medical Center, reports News 12.
