Blue Sneakers Lead To Arrest Of Burglary Suspect By Ossining Officer

OSSINING, N.Y. -- An off-duty Ossining police officer was able to help arrest a wanted Yonkers man thanks to a pair of light blue sneakers, according to Patch.com.

Officer Joe Bracero was commuting on a Metro-North Railroad train when he recognized the sneakers, and the man's description, from a "Most Wanted" bulletin out of Binghamton, N.Y., Patch.com reported.

Timothy Bryant, 22, of Yonkers, was wanted in connection with several burglaries in the Binghamton area, according to Patch.com.
