Arson Being Investigated As Possible Cause Of Yonkers Fire

YONKERS, N.Y. – Fire Investigators are looking into whether arson was the cause of the three-alarm fire that raced through a three-story apartment building on Groshon Avenue on Wednesday morning, News 12 reports.

As firefighters tried to put out the flames that morning, some residents were saying they overheard someone threaten to burn down the building during a domestic dispute between a couple, according to the report.

The fire displaced 18 adults and 20 children, according to the report.
