Missing Yonkers Man Found Safe

The Missing Person Alert issued for a 50-year-old in Yonkers early Sunday evening has been canceled.

Samuel Bouchante was located in New York City and is safe, authorities said.

A search is underway for a 50-year-old Westchester man who went missing in the early morning hours of Sunday.

The Missing Person Alert went into effect at the request of the Yonkers City Police Department Communications Division.

Samuel Bouchante is a vulnerable adult with a traumatic brain injury who may be in need of medical attention. He was last seen at St. Joseph's Hospital on North Broadway in Yonkers at 2 a.m. Sunday. He may have traveled to Manhattan, according to authorities. 

He is 5-foot-5, 275 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and white sneakers. He may appear to be disorientated or confused.

The alert is in effect for Westchester, Putnam, Rockland and Dutchess as well as Orange county, all five boroughs of New York City and Nassau County.
