YONKERS, N.Y. -- The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services has canceled a Missing Vulnerable Adult Alert relating to the disappearance of Yonkers resident William Slade on Thursday.
Slade is a 54-year-old black male with a history of mental illness who had last been seen on foot at St. Joseph's Hospital on South Broadway in Yonkers at approximately 1 p.m. on Thursday, according to the NYSDCJS.
No further information was released about the cancellation of the alert.
