Alert Canceled For Missing Yonkers Woman

The alert for a 78-year Yonkers woman who went missing late Friday afternoon has been canceled.

No further information was immediately available.

Original report, Friday evening

An alert has been issued Friday evening for a missing 78-year-old woman from Westchester.

Patricia Sullivan is a Yonkers resident with Alzheimer's and dementia. She was last seen walking near Palmer Road in Yonkers at approximately 4 p.m. Friday.

She may have boarded a train at the Bronxville train station, authorities said. 

She responds to "Patsie" and was last seen wearing a green shirt, white shorts, orange socks, and carrying a beige purse.

Sullivan is 5-feet tall, 130 pounds with gray hair and blue eyes.

The alert includes Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Dutchess, Orange, Sullivan, Ulster, Columbia and Nassau counties as well as all of New York City.
