Yonkers Police Top List Of City's Highest Earners

YONKERS, N.Y. -- Active and retired members of the Yonkers Police Department topped the list of the city's highest earners, according to a report by lohud.com.

The base pay for the top 10 earners ranged from $67,000 to $163,000 and included additional income from overtime, miscellaneous pay and severance and more, reported lohud.com.

According to lohud.com, the top 10 earners in 2015 were: 

  • Edward Potanovic, retired lieutenant, $287,373.99.
  • Frank Bubbico, retired lieutenant, $273,949.61.
  • Henry Trabucco, retired lieutenant, $257,976.70.
  • Richard Doyle, retired captain, $250,737.04.
  • Kallid Nassar, lieutenant, $250,730.98.
  • Joseph Monaco, captain, $248,086.01.
  • Frederick Hellthaler, captain, $247,142.68.
  • Timothy Hodges, captain, $245,777.47.
  • Joseph Mahoney, retired officer, $244,621.86.
  • Francis Intervallo, retired captain, $241,192.61.

Mayor Mike Spano's gross pay of $156,098.80 was the 312th-highest on the list, said lohud.com.
