Yonkers Officials Give Residents Something To Be Thankful For

YONKERS, N.Y. – Mayor Mike Spano, the Yonkers City Council and City employees delivered more than 200 turkeys and all the trimmings to Yonkers residents Wednesday at the Nepperhan Community Center.

The meals were donated by several local companies, including Yonkers Contracting, ShopRite, Kawasaki Rail Car, Fidelis Care NY, and Valley Oil. "It's about Yonkers residents helping Yonkers residents," said Mayor Mike Spano. "We're so thankful that we had the opportunity to lend a helping hand to more than 200 Yonkers families this Thanksgiving."
