Yonkers' Andrus Announces New Organizational Structure

YONKERS, N.Y. -- ANDRUS, the Yonkers-based children and family services provider, recently announced a restructuring of its senior leadership team.

Bryan Murphy will become vice president and chief operating officer; Lorelei Vargas will become vce president and chief strategy officer; Kerron Norman will become vice president of Community Based Programs; Derek Kolleeny will become vice president and chief financial officer; and R. Tito Del Pilar will become vice president of Human Resources and Knowledge Management, according to a news release. 

“My principal goals at ANDRUS are to enhance the tools we use to support the health and well-being of our children and families across divisions, and to expand our strategies and development efforts to support our work,” Mimi Corcoran, ANDRUS president and chief executive officer, said in the release. “I am confident that these five individuals will help us accomplish exactly that. This new senior leadership structure will support the growth of the organization, our board and ensure that we continue on our path to excellence.”

Murphy was previously vice president for Campus Programs and Operations and in his new role he will "handle day-to-day operations of the Campus Division, Orchard School, Residential, Clinical and Health Center Services, MIS, Facilities and Operations, and Compliance," according to the release. 

Vargas recently served as vice president for Strategic Initiatives and as Chief Strategy Officer, she will be "developing and guiding ANDRUS’ strategic planning across the organization, supporting programs and partnerships, overseeing direct operational assignments to support strategic growth as needed; building a solid comprehensive funding base to support the ANDRUS vision; and providing guidance on relevant public policy and advocacy issues," according to the release.

Del Pilar was the director of Workforce Development and with the change, he is set to manage "all Human Resource functions including the recruitment, hiring, benefits management, and the professional development of all ANDRUS personnel," according to the release. 

Norman will be responsible for "all Community and Mental Health programs" and will "lead the growth and development of ANDRUS’ work in the community, ensuring programs are high quality and safely managed; managing documentation and reports to ensure it is clear, accurate and timely; and taking the lead on understanding the emerging changes to the healthcare system," according to the release. 

Kolleeny will "continue to oversee all functions and business relationships relevant to the organization’s financial operations, and ensure full compliance with all regulatory requirements and reporting activities," according to the release.
