Somers resident Andy Zulla, a Grammy-award winning producer has teamed up with Broadway performer Matt Zarley, to create a CD collection of '70s and '80s music you'll want to listen to as much as your kids.

Rock-n-Stroller Volume I, currently available on Amazon and iTunes, features old- time hits like Don’t Stop (Fleetwood Mac), I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Whitney Houston), Sweet Dreams (The Eurythmics), and Start Me Up (Rolling Stones) all performed by talented young singers.

Volume II, which debuts Sept. 8, will feature pop and rock favorites like Here Comes the Sun (The Beatles), Surfin’ USA (Beach Boys), Dancing Queen (ABBA), I Love Rock and Roll (Joan Jett and The Blackhearts), We Belong (Pat Benatar) and Sweet Child O’ Mine (Guns n’ Roses), and many more.

“As a parent, I wanted to listen to music that my child would enjoy, but also share music that I would love to listen to as well,” said Zulla, who grew up in Chappaqua.

Zulla's 7-year-old daughter Kayley was a big part of his inspiration to make the CD and, like any proud dad -- and producer -- he allowed her to be part of the "kids background group" on a number of songs.

"Kayley doesn't know yet if she wants to be a singer when she grows up, but she loved the project and the songs so much she wanted to be a part of it," he said.
