Couple Late For Wedding After I-287 Pileup

RYE, N.Y. -- A six-car accident on Interstate 287 on the Rye-Port Chester border caused serious injuries to three people and caused an entire wedding party to be late to a wedding reception, according to News 12 Westchester.

The pile-up happened at 5 p.m. between exits nine and 10 near Harrison and caused heavy delays in the eastbound lanes. Newlyweds Robert and Katherine Mitariten were on their way to their New Rochelle wedding reception when the party bus hit accident-related traffic, News 12 Westchester said.
