YONKERS N.Y. – A diabetic cat with special-needs is looking for a loving home after being abandoned in Yonkers.

Troy, a sweet older tabby, is very affectionate, neutered and up to date on his vaccinations. Finding a home for him has been difficult, but he needs to find one soon because he can't stay at the center any longer.

Troy no longer requires medicine to manage his diabetes, but needs to be fed special prescription food and have an occasional blood test.

For more information, call the Yonkers Humane Society at 914-439-2415.
