YONKERS,N.Y.— Are you ready to kiss 2014 good bye and say hello to 2015? One of Yonkers newest additions to Ridge Hill is WineZetta , which means Owners Natalia and Rahul Postrigan have some sparkling suggestions for you to ring in 2015.

"Traditionally, for New Years Eve, I would name five types of sparklers: French Champagne, American sparkling, Italian Prosecco, Spanish Cava and any sparklers that fall outside these bins," said Natalia.

Also on the list, according to Rahul, the Italian Lambrusco sparklers .

Lambrusco is an Italian grape which is used in producing sparkling red wines in a method similar to Prosecco. This results in an alluring ruby color, an intensely perfumed nose, and a fruity palate of raspberry, cherry and plums that traditionally pairs well with prosciutto, antipasti and many other holiday dishes.

WineZetta's bestselling Lambrusco wines are red and rose from Lini 910 Oreste & Figli, which sell for $13.95.

Prefer going a bit more classic? French Champagne comes in a wide price range starting at $35 up to several hundred dollars a bottle.

Which is why, the Postrigans recommend Italian Proseccos and Spanish Cavas with prices mostly $15 or less.

Cavas are sparkling wines of Spain and are typically produced in a Champagne method. They are similar in terms of affordability at $15-20 a bottle. WineZetta's most popular Cavas are Llopart Brut Rose (the neon pink color that stands out in the glass, with jammy red currant and cherry flavors) and Marques de Gelida Brut Reserve (boasting wonderful brioche aromas, apple and pear flavors).

Another less traditional sparkler would be German Rieslings, such as Dr Loosen Sparkling Riesling ($12-plus). The Postrigans say this is a very bright and clean sparkling wine in the German style with just a touch of Riesling sweetness  -- think flavors of apples, citrus, ginger and honey on the palate.
