The parade will be held Saturday following a Mass at St. Barnabas High School Chapel. Marchers step off at 1 p.m. on McLean Avenue west of Bronx River Road. Tim Rooney Jr., general counsel at Empire City Casino at Yonkers Raceway, is the 2015 Grand Marshal.
In 2014, the South Broadway St. Patrick’s Day Parade merged with the McLean Avenue Merchants' Association St. Patrick’s Day Parade. This combination began a new era for Yonkers in honoring its Irish heritage, contributions and Saint Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland and of the Archdiocese of New York.
