Yonkers Eateries Offer A Variety Of Specials For Super Bowl Sunday

YONKERS, N.Y. — Call it Deflate-Plate! A new survey by Blimpie, the iconic sub chain, reveals folks want healthier food choices at their Super Bowl parties even though they often stick to fattening favorites such as pizza, wings and chips.

One in three say they spend $250 or more on a Super Bowl party while 80% of party hosts order in at least part of the food they provide.

In other stats: 41% say they eat more calories on Super Bowl Sunday than Thanksgiving and more than one in four say the Super Bowl should be a national holiday. 

Here, some area options for enjoying the day.
