This week, the Lost PETS of Westchester County Facebook group posted a new alert for Charlie, a 13-year-old German Shepherd and Pit Bull mix, who has been missing for nearly a month.

Charlie weighs more than 60 pounds and sports an orange and tan full fur coat. He was last seen by his family at approximately 4 a.m. on April 29 wearing a Marvel Avengers collar with ID tags on McLean Avenue in Yonkers.

On Monday, his owners reported that they received a phone call that Charlie was spotted by Leonard Place off of Yonkers Avenue, across from Carvel. He was also seen over the weekend by a woman walking her dog on Leonard Place, who said "there's no doubt in her mind that the dog she encountered was the exact same dog (seen on posters in Yonkers)."

As a senior dog, his owners have asked that if he is seen, not to chase him, to take a photo and call right away. Anyone with information regarding Charlie’s whereabouts can call Diana at (914) 469-1608.
