On Sunday, riders and passengers will gather at Croton Gorge Park in Croton-on-Hudson to register, at 9 a.m., with kickstands raising at 11 a.m.

Escorted by the Yonkers Police Department and joined by officers from surrounding areas, participants will embark on a scenic, 25-mile ride through Westchester County to JFK Marina & Park.

This family-friendly festival, open to all surrounding communities, will include a pig roast, live music, vendors, raffles, prizes and activities for children of all ages.

To date, the group has raised nearly $100,000 to aid the Ronald McDonald House in providing support for pediatric cancer patients and their families as well as the Aidan Jack Seeger Foundation.

“A member of our Yonkers Fire Department family was faced with pediatric cancer and benefited greatly from the services of the Ronald McDonald House,” said Ken Geiger, organizer of Hogs4Hope. “We watched this organization change the lives of this family and, as a result, is a charity that has been close to the hearts of the members of the Yonkers Fire Department for 20 years. In addition to this event, it has been our pleasure to host summer outings, bring cheer during the holiday seasons and offer individual support for evening dinners and events.”

The cost for riders is $25, and for passengers, $20. Participants can register or donate to this event at http://www.rmh-newyork.org/events/hogs-for-hope. Admission to the JFK Marina is $25 and can be paid upon entering. The rain date for this event is Sunday, May 1.
