YONKERS, N.Y. -- LEGOLAND Discovery Center Westchester, in Yonkers, is celebrating summer with the #LDCWSelfie Challenge. Through July, visitors are invited to snap a summer selfie for a chance to win a family four-pack of annual passes -- a $250 value.
To enter the #LDCWSelfie Challenge, visitors are asked to take a creative, "bricktastic" selfie next to something in the Discovery Center that represents their love for LEGO. Entrants then follow @LDCWestchester on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and share their selfies using the hashtag #LDCWSelfie. The deadline is Saturday, July 30.
The winner will be announced on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram on Monday, Aug. 1. Current annual pass-holders can use the prize when their current membership expires.
LEGOLAND Discovery Center Westchester is optimal for kids from 3-10. The 32,300-square-foot attraction offers a wide range of educational and interactive elements. Visitors can learn secrets from the Master Model Builder, experience the attraction’s indoor soft play, score big on two LEGO rides and enjoy a 4D LEGO movie.
The venue also includes MINILAND, a re-creation of landmark locations and buildings in Westchester County and New York City, made entirely of LEGO bricks.
Annual Passes include unlimited entry for 12 months, a subscription to the LEGO Club magazine, sneak preview event days throughout the year, 10 percent off in the retail shop, a 20 percent cafe discount, and a 10 percent discount on birthday parties.
The center is located at the Ridge Hill Shopping Center, in Yonkers. For more info, call 866-243-0770 or visit its website.
