Yonkers' Ridge Hill Brings In Fall With HarvestFest

YONKERS, N.Y. -- The third annual Ridge Hill HarvestFest will be Saturday, Oct. 24, from noon-4:00 p.m.

There will be pony rides, a farm animal petting zoo and many other activities.

Kids can wear a costume for the center-wide Trick or Treat from noon-1:00 p.m. Free bags will be handed out to the first 200 trick-or-treaters.

There will be square dancing and live bluegrass, beginning at 1:30 p.m. 

There will be fresh produce from local Hudson Valley farmers, food from 5Napkin, Havana Central, seasonal frozen yogurt from Frannie’s Goodie Shoppe and beer tasting from the local brewery.

Additional activities for adults and kids alike include pumpkin decorating with Whole Foods Market, starting at 1 p.m; arts and crafts and games from Wee Westchester, starting at 2:30 p.m; an interactive campsite and games with R.E.I.; and demonstrations on surviving in the wilderness from L.L. Bean.
