Creepy crafts, outdoor moon gazing and a costume parade with Nepperhan Community Center will accompany the night’s premier events. 

“Sky Frights,” a planetarium show full of night creatures and horrors that lurk among the stars, begins at 6 p.m. and is for all ages. Spooky stories will be told at 4:40, 5, 5:30 and 6 p.m. Stories run about 25 minutes and are for ages 4-10. Free tickets are available the day of the event in the museum lobby on a first -come-first- served basis. On Saturday, Nov. 1, the museum celebrates El Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, a traditional Mexican celebration honoring the dead, with a day full of family programs, tours and star shows in Spanish and English. The Hudson River Museum is at 511 Warburton Ave.
